TITLE: “chURch – engages, enrages and changes the world"

TEXT: Acts 20—28 & Romans (especially Acts 20:1-4; 19:23-26; 26:20-28; Rom. 5:1-8;  Acts 28:26-27)

IN A NUTSHELL:  From the Jewish priests and Pharisees to Lydia the seller of purple; from Saul to Simon, Simeon, Felix and Festus, the Gospel engaged with all kinds of people.  From the noble reactions from the Bereans, to the skepticism of the philosophers of Athens.  The chURch engaged the world, sometimes enraged the world, and often times changed the world.   How are we doing?

  2. How might one introduce a gospel presentation using Romans?  (Rom. 3:23; 6:23; 5:8; 10:8-10; 6:1-4)
  3. What did Dr. Luke make note of from Isaiah 6:9,10 in Acts 28:26-27?
