IN A NUTSHELL:  Idolatry at first seems archaic and irrelevant for today.  But if you take your eyes off the statue and look at our heart it's clear, idols are as plentiful as they ever were.   Anything that man creates or recognizes other than God himself to which he says, "now deliver me," has become his idol.  A false god seems harmless at first, endearing actually, but pretty soon it's enslaving. The question of this sermon is "What brings you to the table of life's decisions?  What makes you do what you do, go where you go, say what you say?"  It is the gospel that exposes and frees us to serve the Living God!  Paul was committed to "Go" and prayerfully expose the false Gods. 

How do I Love God, Learn the Truth and Light the World in light of these Scriptures?
