10/12 Prepare Your Heart for Sunday Worship
TEXT: Matthew 27:37; Mark 10:45; Luke 19:10; John 3:16
IN A NUTSHELL -The story of Jesus is not just history. Jesus is a four dimensional character in what is commonly viewed as a three dimensional society. Four historical accounts of an interactive God/Man. He started out surprising man and continues to do so. Just because the story seems unimaginable, doesn't' mean it isn't believable. Trusting Jesus is like a roller coaster on steroids!
A few questions to consider:
- Looking at the key texts: Matthew 27:37; Mark 10:45; Luke 19:10; John 3:16 How would the uniqueness of the author's backgrounds make these biblical statements full of meaning? Matthew, Mark, Luke, John
- Why do you believe that Jesus' lived, died, rose again, and is in heaven at the Father's right hand?
- Why were the gospels written? John 20:31; Luke 1:1-4
- What do these people have in common the Samaritan woman– Jn. 4:1-45, Joesph of Arimethea-Mk. 15:43, Nathaniel - Jn 1:43-51, Thomas –Jn. 20:19-31?
